My 70's hair

This one day my hair felt to me dirty, but I had to leave to store and didn't have time to take a shower so I just tried to do something with my hear. And this is what I did.

I didn't get a picture of the whole outfit, but my knitwear that you can see in the picture was long and I had black leggins underneath. Though they smelled funny, I couldn't figure out what. Then I thought it smelled like clay, but I am not sure. And those were my favorite leggins! They were perfect. Just have to wait that I'll be visiting Finland so I can buy another pair.. or three.

Oh yeah, but the outfit. I had my baglady necklace that I love. It is so pretty with it's colorful stones. Because my hear was on the other side, the other felt to empty, so I wore my youth vs. future silver feather earring. I have two of them, but now I needed only one. Oh yea, and I had white summer shoes from warp on. And the perfect 70's spring look was ready :D

Recommending Red Velvet Whoopie Pie

Actually first I thought this recommending story line would be about cosmetic staff I am recommending, but I love to recommend many other things too, so now I am recommending Starbucks's Red Velvet Whoopie Pie.

It is sooooo good! I almost died today when I tried it. I checked it out once before, but didn't dare to try, but today was the day to taste it, and I loved it. I had to look in other way when I was leaving Starbucks so I wouldn't buy dozen of them. So yummy!

Oh, and tomorrow I am finally going out to do something else that to a cafe or to watch shops. We are going to see Nas and Damien Marley. So cool. I can't wait. For most part because I can dress up and do something I haven't done in long time. Really I haven't been out to do something fun in ages!
But now I am so tired I think I might have to take a nap. I feel like my brain is going to shut down any minute now.

My life in Glasgow

Another story line (how many am I going to have them?), but "My life in Glasgow" is really what is says. About my life in Glasgow. About the things I feel a bit weird in here, because it is not what I am used to.

The first thing and the most thing was when I saw people of Glasgow. In Finland I am used in a bit grumpy and very busy people, who don't really care about the strange people around them. But here especially on the sunny days I feel that everyone is happy and smiling. People I don't know say hi to me and are just nice. Because of this I feel much happier myself too.

Admiring Ryan Gosling

Yeah, I am not only admiring women, but also men. And Ryan Gosling is just amazing! I fell in love with him in "Notebook" (which is one of my favorite movies), and now he came in my mind again while I am watching "Blue Valentine". He is so dreamy and the roles I've seen him he is the dream guy. He is one of my favorite actors, and also hotties :D But look at him, can anyone resist him?

Fantasizing of KG shoes from Company

I saw in the lates company magazine these KG shoes, which I though was KG by Kurt Geiger, but I am not sure, because I tried to look around internet and didn't find these shoes anywhere. But I will be fantasizing of these shoes the whole summer. They are just perfectly colorful and just perfect for summer!

Actually when I first saw them on Company I didn't even bother to examine them more, but second time I bumped into them I fell in love instantly!

So if anyone sees these shoes in any store near Glasgow or in some online store, I would love to hear about it. Thanks :)

Surprised by Starbucks Hillhead

One day I was at the Starbucks in Hillhead again out of the cleaning ladies way. I was just sitting there drinking my hot chocolate and reading a book intensively, when some of the workers came to give me.. I think it was frappuccino? but I am not sure. Agues some customer forgot to take it or something, so they asked first would anyone want one. I didn't hear the question (or I just didn't understand, I still have a bit problem to understand scottish) so I just looked up. He asked me if I had ever had one. I didn't, so he said I should try and he put it on my table with a straw. And it was quite good. It was like a bit of ice cream, but not completely milkshake, and it had strawberry jam in it.

Watched Waterworld

Story line "watched" is about the movies I watched and want to share with you.

This Waterworld has  been one of my favorite movies for long time, and we decided to watch it, because my boyfriend hasn't seen it in a long time. And of course I loved it even this time. Kevin Costner fit in to the role perfectly and more than anything I loved Tina Majorina in the Enola role. Loved the girl, with her feisty attitude and annoying Mariner.

Top 10 about me

A story line " My top 10's" should actually be about list's when I list my favorite things in top 10's, but now I thought I could tell a little more about me.

* I speak three languages. And well a little bit of fourth, though I would want to learn 5 more. I bit ambitions maybe.

* I am a hygien freak. Quite a fanatic one. I make people crazy around me, because of mine obsessions. I seem to find germs in everything and everywhere.

* I don't like micro food. Actually in my last apartment I didn't even have microwave. Which is kind of ironic, while now I can only make my food in microwave.

* I have two most wonderful cats! They are really amazing, and everyone around seem to like them too. And actually  I love animals more than ever, and would be more than happy to live in a  zoo.

* I am quite a hazard. I hit myself in to table corners or cut myself by shavers, and I don't even realice it. And then later I wonder how did I get cut or where did I get that bruise from. Sometimes it is a bit scary.

* I love cities that  has river, sea or canal in them. Few of my favorites are Paris, London, Frankfurt, St. Petersburg and Amsterdam.

* I love collecting staff. Books, dvd's, clothes, shoes, sunglasses, cosmetics, magazines and beautiful things. But when I moved the only ones that I didn't pass on, where my playing cards, which I have collected from places I've been or friends have brought me as souvenir's.

* I don't like medicine, and try not to use even painkillers if possible. But I don't torture myself. And also I think tiger balsam curves everything.

*I love fashion and clothes. I go crazy in a store because I want everything. And if I can't I feel worse than ever. My favorite brands are All Saints, Numph, Blowfish, Red or Dead and Rocket Dog. Funny thing is that I only own one pair of Blowfish shoes and a Numph leather jacket.

* I never played consols in my childhood and we didn't have many boardgames. And this is funny because my boyfriend has partly managed to hook me on playstation 3 game borderlands. And I love boardgames and am always ready to play them.

Now you know a little bit more about me. Pictures are from the sunny day when I was at Kelvin river... or maybe it was Clyde, I am not sure :D

Reading now When God Was A Rabbit

Another story line "reading now". And it is really about the books I am reading at the moment. Now I have more than enough time to read books, so i really try to take advantage of everything I can read.

Right now I am reading a book named When God Was A Rabbit by Sarah Winman. And it really is quite amazing to read, while it is told by little girl and how she is so innocent and ignorant of all the problems that happen around her, even though reader understands them. I have just started the book, but already I am hooked.

Also a new storyline.. though if I'll be able to get any outfit pictures. The best way to take your outfit picture is when someone else takes it and with better camera, so hope my boyfriend will be cooperative :)

But for todays outfit. I really was only supposed to get out of cleaning ladies way, so I wore the first thing I find on my shelf (yea, I have a shelf, really hoping to get an apartment soon, to get my clothes in a proper closet). Shorts and New York t-shirt are from H&M, cardigan is from Gina Tricot (though I got it from my sister) and sunglasses from Puma.

The picture isn't so grate in that lighting, but the point of this picture is the beautiful sunny day which I enjoyed outside looking at Kelvin river.

Surprised by Elizabeth Taylor's death

I actually wasn't supposed to do another one to "surprised" story line, but it was the ting to do now, when I just read from newspapers that Elizabeth Taylor died. And why am I surprised? Because I thought she was dead a long time ago. Well everyone says she was one of the most beautiful actresses of all time, so I thought they talket in past time, she must ne dead. Well.

Even though I haven't been such a huge fan of Taylor, know her for the fact that Charlotte admires her in Sex and the City. But she still is a big actress so I think she deserves a proper good bye.

So rest well Elizabeth Taylor. And I think I should see her Cleopatra movie!

I love the look of white dress for summer with cognac boots

Actually this storyline was supposed to show the looks of celebrities that I love, but I think some other looks are as good for this line, so now it's these:

When watching ss/10 I came around of many white dresses. Well agues white is the color for this summer. I really can live with that! White is fresh and light color for summer, so it won't get hot and you will look stylish. Though I fell even more in love when I saw Jill Sunders combining white summer dress with cognac boots. My heart almost skipped a beat!

I really really really love this combination and while boots might be too hot for summer, I was thinking cognac colored sandals with a haft (or what ever it is, it was quite hard to find the right word for it).

Surprised..

Also storyline that I am going to use here. Though this storyline is a bit different it can be "surprised by..", " frustrated by...", "devastated by..." or "happy by.." so actually anything that would describe my feeling about the thing I want to tell you.

But now I am surprised by seeing Luke Pasqualino. My first celeb viewing in hear. Though I can't be 100 % sure it was him, but the guy looked so much of him, that it must be him. And it also feels lot cooler to think I saw a celebrity :D

Fantasizing of...

Another storyline is "fantasizing of...", which really means I will be telling you what I am fantasizing of. Things can be realistic or nonrealistic, it doesn't really matter the point is that it is something I want to share. Interesting isn't it? :D

Well I am actually not having the type of post I would in future have, because I am devoting this post for the dreams right now. They are not actually even dreams, they are tings I need and have been wanting for so long. I think it's human basic needs. To have an apartment, that is clean and a bit closer to the city center (like I told I basically just hiding at my boyfriends place). To get a job, that is interesting and from which I would get reasonable payment (no really, I do want to work, I want to work so bad, that I am having depression, because I'm not working! Any sense?). And to get to school for next year.. well not only for next, hopefully to continue studying for few years ( I miss school!!!!).

Those were it. And few things that relate to those fishes. So lovelysweetyfairygodmother could you help me with these please?

Admiring Mila Kunis

This first storyline that I am going to start hear is "admiring...". I really do love many women celebrities and often want to share my admiration for them. So starting from first. Not really the favorite, but one that I have loved for a long time, Mila Kunis.

I actually started to like Mila Kunis first in The 70's show. I thought she was the best in the whole show with her bossy caracter and daddy's little princess vibe. After that I didn't see her in anything for a long time and I almost forgot her. But now I saw her in the Black Swan and totally fell in love for her again! Natalie Portman is definitely one of my favorite actresses above all, but in that movie I just liked Mila more. I mean Natalie was great in it, and totally deserved that oscar, but there was something about Mila that made me feel to take a look more of her work. Though I haven't yet had a chance to watch her other movies, but I am planning to in the near future, when I have the time.

Mila is really radiant and talented, still quite young actress. I also love her style, but more about that later.

Welcome

First of all welcome to my new blog.

Yes I have blogged before, though in finnish and from Finland. I didn't feel right with that blog anymore and wanted to try something new. Blogging on a new site, with new name and the biggest thing.. in English! I am sorry for everyone for my mistakes in english, it is not my first language, but I think this will help to improve in it.

So who am I?

I am a girl, who fell in love with a boy. In few months boy moved to another country to study and I just couldn't stay behind.

Few months we tried far distance relationship, but it was killing me. I were all the time sad, frustrated and depressed. So, I made up my mind. I had to move.

It was quite easy, because the store I worked in closed and I was out of work. I told to jobcenter that I want to work abroad, and in Finland actually you may try to find work from other country after being unemployed for one month. I mean they give you benefits for three months of work search in the european country of your choice. I packed up my things, sold most of them and gave my apartment to my sister. My cats, who where the hardest to go away from, went to my friend for three months to wait if I get a job and come after them, or well.. I haven't thought of another situation. So I'll just leave it to that.

Now I am living half secretly at my boyfriends room. It is quite frustrating when I don't have a kitchen for my use (only microwave and waterboiler), toilets are for common use ( so I need to get dressed every time I go to the toilet, don't get me wrong I am not naked in the room, but the room is hot so I might be without pants or something :D) and the place I stay at is few miles from everything interesting like city center and because I don't want to use money on public transportation (except maybe once in a month) so I walk everywhere. And on top of this all I really know only one person in this whole country and my boyfriend has school, trainings and other stuff, so I am quite lonely. Thence I write this blog now.

This blog will be about things I love, am inspired and am fascinated for. So you will read a lot about fashion, clothes, shoes, places i love, people I admire, weird things for me (I mean after living in Finland it is a lot of surprises in new country) and above all my life.

So again welcome and hope you like reading my blog. And please comment, I would love some communication! :)
