Our catwoman's

 

After we found out that Anne Hathaway would be the next catwoman (and my boyfriend said "NOOOOOO") we started to think who could be great catwoman. So we got thinkin. My boyfriend said straight away Natalie Martinez (you might remember her from Death Race next to Jason Statham). Well yeah, she would be great.

But I got my eyes on G-Star Raw commercial where Gemma Arterton was posing, and decided that she would be great as catwoman. She is sexy, confident and could have the attitude catwoman would need. Also Gemma Arterton is so versatile tha she can be sexy, but sweet, super gorgeous, and I think she could pull out anything! My boyfriend agreed to that a little.

But as we thought a bit further we came upon Mila Kunis and that was it. Mila Kunis would be perfect for the role. She screams catwoman all over her. She even has those eyes and that look. Mila Kunis is our ultimate choise for the catwoman role!

Who would you think would be good for the role?

And still I'm looking forward to see how Anne Hathaway will pull out the role!

Anne Hathaway as a catwoman?

I just read that Anne Hathaway is going to be catwoman for the new Batman movie. Which was a bit weird news for me. I like Anne Hathaway and am glad her career is going in a better direction, but role as catwoman I don't know if Anne can pull it off. She is sweet and funny, and even though I haven't seen catwoman (yeah, literally haven't seen, I've only seen these two new Batman movies)  I think that catwoman is someone edgy, sexy, mean and good at the same time. Catwoman is strong and you can see it in the way she moves and looks.

But after seeing these pictures of Anne I think she won't have that problem with sexiness. I still don't has she the edge the catwoman character needs, but I'm sure we'll see it when the next Batman movie will run in cinemas. So waiting for that, but now I'm hoping to see "One Day" this week!

Loving my new toy

After craving for it for almost a year I finally got my Blackberry. We went yesterday to get new phone baggaces from Three, and I got Blackberry. Though I wanted it in red, and got it in Graphite Grey, but it's okay. I can change the cover if I want. So we spend whole last night playing with our new toys. This is first smartphone for me, and my boyfriend laughed at me almost all the time while I screamed "look, look honey, my phone can do this" or "look I can have this application here". So now even though we don't yet have internet at home, I can use my phone for checking my email and facebook, and use computer at school until we get our internet connection (we still haven't decided which one we want..)

And I got also other good new today and yesterday. I'll get my InStyle from next month and I got the package from my order to Vogue. Or actually we made my boyfriend subscribe it to me and we both got the package, so I got two! It was like birthday this morning :D

Missing my kitties

Moving to new country hasn't been easy to me. Maybe that's why it took about half a year to do it, and still I don't feel like I'm conpletely moved to here. And that's because my cats are still in Finland. We've been long time gathering the money to get them here, and there've been like million obsicles to get through. And you can tell I'm exhausted about it!

I've been away from them already 7 months, even though it should've been at first only 3 months. They've been staying with my best friend who I trust the most in this world, but still. They've been away from me and she had to take care of them much longer that we at first agreed. I'm seeing dreams about them and feel bad and guilty almost every day.

Now finally we've got a little bit further with moving them, but still I find new obsticles every day. Today the site isn't working were I can check when can I move them. Other I didn't now if we would another type of transportation. And then there is of course the fact that I have to fly to help to send them, and fly to recieve them and then somehow get home with them. It's a long way home from London.

And of course it doesn't help that I have a flue and I'm somehow overly emotional and cried yesterday like three times for some little things. It just feels like every little thing is making baggage on me and I just everything to be firuged out already!

Some good news there are! I finally really got my timetable and also answer from my school, so that I know a little more about my schedule this next few weeks. So planning is a little bit easier. And we are getting guests so I'll have my mind on something else!

But keep your fingers crossed so I'll figure out everything soon and won't lose my mind! :)

Still being happy, this time for magazines!

As the two previous days I'm still happy. This time for the fact that I did by my Harpers Bazaar in time to get the August issue. I'm not that big fan of the Harpers Bazaar, but I have this thing that I almost have to buy every issue that has Emma Watson in it. Well not those teen magazines, but others. and while I was buying the Bazaar my boyfriend showed me new Company where Emma was on the cover too. So I had to buy two magazines instantly. Especially when Company was only £1.

But I like Company. It has enough interesting stories in it and it is easy to read. It's for those days when I want something light to read. Bazaar int he other hand was a bit more like Vanity Fair or Vogue. Both great magazines, but in Vanity Fair there is a little that interests me.

Vogue is more for me. Enough fashion things and other stories. And even though I sometimes get a bit annoyed on all the commercials, but now I realise that they are the thing for vogue. You can get inspired from them! So I had to get Vogue too. And you couldn't believe how happy these three magazines make me. It's like I'm having some treasures in my home and even watching them makes me happy. Haha :D

But I'm still craving for this months Marie Claire and Elle. for some reason I like to buy magazine by their covers. If there is someone I like on the cover, I want to have the magazine. If there's someone I don't like, I don't even bother. Maybe I shouldn't judge it by it's cover? Well I have just subscribed 10 issues of Vogue (there was fantastic offer inside the magazine £10 for 10 issues!!!) and a year for Marie Claire, which I will get from next month. So I won't be judging them then!

Feeling still happy!

And now we are continuing with things that make me happy. And this time it is own internet connection! We might finally get our own internet connection! Which means no more booking internet time at library. I can use my own laptop or my boyfriends computer which is more hygien. I can use it at what time I ever wish! It's much faster that this library network. I would have as much time using internet as I want! I can finally write my blog more freely with pictures that I've taken myself!

Yes, own internet connection aguess is quite a big luxury! For me it's almost necessity for my every day function. So it's been very hard for these 2,5 months to use it only two hours a day and at the library. I've had to write myself up what I need to look up and still usually forget half of them!

So when it finally comes it will a big Happy happy day!!!

Friends making happy

It's a weird thing what can make you happy.

Last week I got mail from my best friend who still lives in Finland and it brightened my whole day... no actually my whole weekend. Just the fact that I heard from my friend. Well, it might be partly the reason why we are best friends. We just know how to cheer each other up even if we don't need cheering up. I miss my best friend so much, but am so happy that we live in such civilized world now that it's easy to contact each other when ever you want. Phoning her of course is way too expensive, but soon when we're going to have internet at home we can speak on skype!

General wondering

This is actually not that big an issue, just the thing that's on my mind right now. I can't understand how almost everything in UK is paid by direct debit? It's not that hard to pay with a bill, and certainly when we are used to pay everything with the bill, but aguess we need to learn a new way. And if something isn't paid by direct debit they will provide you the option for it!

So for you people who live in UK or other places where almost everything is paid by direct debit, is it easier for you?

I really don't have that much to tell today, so enjoy these pictures. They are so inspiring!!!

The new SATC movie?

Now have been a lot of talks about the new SATC movie and who will be in it. I actually always like to look for younger actresses who would play someone else. It's fun. But this time I don't think they all much that well. Well maybe it's not even point, but I would think they should match a bit better!

I think Emma Roberts was the best pick for Mirandas role. I could imagine Miranda looking that cute when she was younger. And her look matches well with Mirandas look.

For next Blake Lively could act Samantha. She has the hight for it, well her voice doesn't suit the role, but other wise for the role I really could imagine Blake Lively as Samantha. But in the other hand she doesn't really look like our Samantha right now.

Then Elizabeth Olsen is way too cute for Carries role. Also too big cute eyes. I mean Carrie is pretty, and she might have been cute when she was little, but Elizabeth just is all about the cuteness and big eye. But other than the eyes, yes I could see her in the role.

And the last one Charlotte and Selena Gomez? No way! Yes she is as cute. But Selena is latino and Charlotte isn't. And no, I don't have anything against latino's, I think they're gorgeous! But Charlotte isn't latino, so it would change her persona.

I don't know who would be god fo these roles. Maybe no-one just because SATC in itself is already a statement. It's the tv-serie that millions loved and Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristen Davis, Kim Catrall and Cynthia Nixon posses those roles already so well that it is just dumm to change them. They can't act younger that they are, but why make an other movie? Tv-serie was great, but the movies not so much, so why bother? But if it comes, I will see it! I'm a bit difficult with my opinions, but I can't help it.

I love

I have spend quite a relaxed summer. This is one of the first summers since I was 15 when I have done almost nothing. I really am not used to do nothing. I love when I'm busy and all over the place. So I had to figure out something to do for this summer. And I realised I love doing these things, and will miss them when I don't have time for them.

1. Sleeping

I love sleeping more than anything! I like to get a nap in the middle of the day (but only when I'm sick I take naps more than once a day) and in the morning I tend to sleep even an hour after my alarm clock has woken me up. Well sleeping is healthy and is good to get good nights sleep, but I usually over sleep, and I go to sleep maybe at 12 a clock at night. Though I don't like to sleep until 12, then I feel like the whole day is ruined.

2. Showers, baths and taking care of myself

I love showers so much that I can take two of them a day. I just love the feeling and I'm always relaxed after shower. Also because I'm a bit of hygien freake I like to be clean, shower takes care of it!

Now that we have moved to our new house we had bathtup atlast! Though I take bath maybe once a week or once two weeks, so not too often. But still after bath I tend to take shower aswell.

(Yeah, I know I'm not that ecological with using this much water, but I try to be with other things)

And the last thing, I love to take care of myself. Like doing facemasks and bodyscrubs and all that stuff, and now I have time for it!

3. Reading

I love to read a good book. I usually don't have time for it, but since June I have already read 5 books, and I have tree more to go for next two weeks. I am also dreaming of reading all the Harry Potter books in english (no, I have not read everyone of them in english yet, in finnish though). And then I should start reading some classics like Shakespeare books and some others. We'll see how much time I'll have for all of them.

4. Exploring

I love to explore new places. And now I live in a new country, city and new apartment, so there is quite a lot of exploring. We tend to take walks just in some direction and see what we find there. It's also nice to know that here you can find many museum entry free, when in Finland fee's are quite high. So we have already visited Riverside museum, Museum of Modern Art and Kelvingrove Museum, but the last one is so huge that we will visit it again.. prapably more that once.

5. Eating

Well not so much eating, because of course I always have time for eating. More like for making food. Though my honey is so lovely that he makes me breakfast almost every morning and it's great! Well it's not breakfast, it's more of a brunch, because I like to sleep so long :D

But also we love to make food together, and when I'm going to be busy again I won't have time for making food calmly and with joy.

6. For last but not least

Actually the best thing is just that I can spend time with my boyfriend. Really spend time. Because when the school starts and all the activities we really wont have as much time for each other, so we  need to take everything from this time and just enjoy for the company!

Age guessing

This one day I was at the library when some unknow man for me started to talk with me and wanted me to guess his age. I taught it was weird and just didn't answer him at first. So he decided to guess my age. 34. I was almost in shock and had to keep myself from hitting the man with my water bottle. Did I really look like over 10 years older that I was? And what dum stupid man tries to guess womans age?

I remember about year and half ago a bussdriver taught I was under 16.  Maybe he was just nice, but they rearly are. And he was an older man, who don't usually even try to impress you.

And then I remember the situation in Istanbul when guy taught my monder looked younger than me. Though after that he tried to impress me and was flirting to me all the time. (Though my mum really looks veryvery young!)

So what to think?

I've always taught that people look different and it is quite difficult to guess their ages nowadays, but could you really miss the age with 10 years? I am living now in UK and quite often when you see young girls they have their face tan, really too much make-up and clothes that barely cover them. So is that the description of a young person in here? And that's why someone would think I look older, because I barely use make-up, or use it tastefully. I don't use fake tan and I am quite natural looking, with different clothing styles everyday?

I don't have wrinkels and my skin is in good condition.

Or maybe I act mature and I would have to take it as a compliment? But really who would like to hear they look older? (except my boyfriend, he thinks he is babyface and would like to look older)

But I've also seen those natural girls in here. And I usually almost can tell what's their age. But aguess people just look so different now. Some are babyface, some look older than their age, some dress like their older or younger. It is really quite hard to tell.
